Attwood Barker Farm is committed to providing fresh produce to our community. We believe that taking this step is not only healthy and important for us, but also for our environment. Each truck that does not need to bring substandard produce from California to New York is a step in the right direction! We can become sustainable within our own community.

Through our wholesale operation the following restaurants have made this commitment with us. We applaud them for taking this step and hope you’ll check them out too.

The Inn on Gore Mountain, 711 Peaceful Valley Rd, North Creek. Click here for their website.

In addition to working with local restaurants, we also enjoy working with other farmers. As an exclusive member of our CSA, we can offer raw milk cheeses from Sugarloaf Farm of Fort Ann. We’ve tasted many different local cheeses over the last few years to find the perfect one. As well as a cheesemaker who shared our passion for exceptional food. And boy, did we find a great one! It’s everything you’d expect from a handcrafted, artisanal product. From start to finish, Stacey and John take a lot of pride in their work. From milking the cows to cutting and wrapping the cheese, everything is done on their property. Each batch is aged for a minimum of 60 days before being brought to market. Their farm meets USDA standards for production. See below for a description of each variety available.

Hunter’s Farmstead – a mild, creamy table cheese, great for melting, more like a Colby cheese

Hickory Smoked Hunter’s Farmstead – same as above only smoked with real hickory wood

Homestead Jack – a Monterey Jack cheese, nice flavored table cheese, also melts well

Homestead Pepper Jack – made with JalapeƱo, Cherry Bombs or Habaneros, from mild heat to very hot, great for spicing up salads or sandwiches

Apple Smoked Homestead Jack – smoked with real applewood, also great in salads or hot sandwiches, their most popular cheese

Farmstead Cheddar – this year’s cheddar is about 6 or 7 months old right now, smooth cheddar flavor

Apple Smoked Farmstead Cheddar – smoked with real applewood

Homestead Feta – a delicious, crumbly feta

Herbed Homestead Feta – same as above with a mix of fresh herbs
